Russian Automotive Market Research

Head of joint venture KAMAZ ARMENIA JSC Sergey Galstyan visited KAMAZ. In the course of the visit the guest was familiarized with the process flow of gas KAMAZ vehicles production, manufactured by the automotive giant's partner RariTEK LLC.

Interest for gas in Armenia is related to growth in the Republic of demand for vehicles operating on compressed natural gas (methane). As of the end of 2011, Armenia was in the 14th line in the world gas engine statistics. At that, the park of gas vehicles increased by 241% and amounted to 244 000 units, while the number of CNG filling stations increased by 125%, to 345 units, exceeding the Ukrainian index.
