25.01.2017 / Shares of TOP-10 new trailer brands, January – December 2016/2015

NEFAZ was the market leader in 2016 with a 16.97% share of new trailer sales.  At that NEFAZ sales grew by 68.72% on 2015.
SCHMITZ and TONAR came second and third accounting for 11.27% and  5.22% of new trailer sales correspondingly.

GAZ and UAZ with 41.04% and 22.75% of new LCV sales respectively were the market leaders in 2016.  At that GAZ sales grew 11.79% and UAZ sales were 2.40% up on 2015. LADA came third with a 6.41% market share and a 6.34% growth in sales on 2015.

In January-December 2016 the share of SUV was 3.69% up on the previous year. Sedans still top the market accounting for nearly 45% of new car sales.

In 2016 the share of trucks with gross vehicle weight of 18001-20000 kg showed the biggest growth: +5.22%, the share of trucks with gross vehicle weight of 6001-8000 kg decreased most of all: -4.02%.

In January-November 2016 new cars sales composition in terms of price segments hardly changed in comparison with 2015

In January – October 2016 the share of the mass segment grew by 2.98%, mostly at the expense of the low-cost segment, which lost 3.40% of its share.
