24.03.2015 / OAT is ready to sell its share in some enterprises to AVTOVAZ

AVTOVAZ may become a co-owner of several companies of «United Automobile Technologies» (OAT). AVTOVAZ and OAT plan to sign agreements of intent to conclude a deal at the beginning of this week. The automaker may own 99% of «Motor-Super» JSC (Togliatti), 40% of «Dimitrovgrad Automotive Components Plant» JSC (DAAZ, Ulyanovsk region), 25% of «Serdobsk Machine-Building Plant» JSC (Samara, Penza region), 20% of «OSVAR» JSC (Vladimir region), 15% of «Rosavtoplast» (Togliatti) and 10% of «Vazinterservis» (VIS, Togliatti). The final scheme of a deal has not been approved yet.

OAT is the leading Russian company producing automotive components and the largest supplier of AVTOVAZ. 13 companies in five Russian regions are under control of the group. According to the group, they produce more than 4 thousand types of parts, which are mounted on all models of AVTOVAZ, GAZ, UAZ, as well as Nissan Almera, Teana, X-Trail, Renault Sandero and KAMAZ.


20.03.2015 / SEZ in the Primorye territory will be created by 2017

More than 5 billion rubles and 300 million rubles will be allocated from federal and regional budgets for the construction of facilities of a special economic zone Sollers in the Primorye territory. Private investment in the project SEZ Sollers will amount to 10 billion rubles. The task of SEZ is to create shops, in which production of automotive components, including automobile engines, will be located on a rental basis.

Industrial special economic zone in Vladivostok was founded in August 2014 according to the decision of the government of the Russian Federation. In September 2014, the regional government signed an agreement with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation on the establishment of SEZ at the plant Sollers, which carries out SKD assembly of SsangYong, Mazda and Toyota cars. The project implementation is planned for 2017, development of design and estimate documentation - until the end of 2015.


12.03.2015 / KAMAZ and Palfinger develop cooperation

KAMAZ established two joint ventures with the Austrian manufacturer of loading and handling systems Palfinger AG. One of the joint ventures will mount cranes manipulators on trucks and the second one will produce hydraulic cylinders for manipulators. Agreements on the establishment of two joint ventures in Tatarstan and Bashkortostan were signed in August 2014.

It is assumed that the production of the joint venture manufacturing cylinders will exceed 80 thousand cylinders per year, the projected revenue - 1.5 billion rubles. Palfinger stake in the joint venture will be 51%. The JV will be located in Neftekamsk (Bashkiria).

The second agreement provides for the creation of assembly center, which will mount the lifting equipment on chassis of trucks of different brands. The lifting equipment of Palfinger and other manufacturers will be used. The Palfinger Group will hold 49% and KAMAZ – 51% in this joint venture. The company will be located in Naberezhnye Chelny (Tatarstan).


10.03.2015 / «Nizhnekamskshina» plans to increase the tire production in 2015

In 2015 «Nizhnekamskshina» (a part of the tire manufacturing complex of Tatneft) will produce 10.6 million car radial tires, which is a 40% increase on the previous year. The actual output of «Nizhnekamskshina» in 2014 amounted to 8.9 million tires, of which 7.6 million – car tires, the rest – light truck ones.

«Nizhnekamskshina» produces automobile tires of brands Kama, Kama euro, Viatti. According to the company, its subsidiaries produced every third Russian tire, in 2014 sales of tires of the general distributor of «Nizhnekamskshina», the trading house Kama, was by 70% more than in the previous year; sales in the secondary market increased 2.2-fold, export - 2.4-fold. «Nizhnekamskshina» delivers its products to AVTOVAZ, GM-AVTOVAZ, Sollers, Volkswagen Group Rus and other enterprises.


02.03.2015 / Production at Voronezh Tire Plant increased by 74% in 2014

In 2014 the production at Voronezh Tire Plant, a part of the JV State Corporation Rostec and Pirelli, increased by 74% to 1 million 322 thousand tires. Revenue from sales of tires made more than 2 billion 105 million rubles against 1 billion 782 million rubles in 2013. It is expected that in 2015 this figure will increase, in particular due to the production of tires for cars and light trucks of the premium segment with subsequent export to CIS and European Union countries.

The planned production volume of Voronezh Tire Plant in 2015 is 1 million 920 thousand tires (+46%). About 80% of tires, produced at the enterprise, are sold in Russia, the rest are supplied to CIS countries and Scandinavia. The products Pirelli in Russia are delivered for the primary equipping of vehicles Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Renault. In addition, there are plans to cooperate with AVTOVAZ.
