30.06.2017 / Federal-Mogul Powertrain expanded production in Tatarstan

Federal-Mogul Powertrain opened a foundry of cylinder liners, having significantly expanded the production site in Naberezhnye Chelny (the joint venture with KAMAZ operating since 2009). To open the new shop the company completed the existing production area of the plant. Melting furnaces for raw materials, automated centrifugal casting unit and robotic pre-processing line are located in new premises.

The level of localization of Mitsubishi car production at PSMA Rus plant in Kaluga reached 32.8%; by the end of 2017 it is expected to achieve 36%.

At the moment one of the production lines of PSMA Rus plant carries out CKD assembly of Outlander. Production line of PSMA Rus plant includes the paint shop, body shop and assembly shop.

Hyundai Motor CIS announced launch of the action for Hyundai cars in Russia, under which more than 11 thousand items of original spare parts, as well as a large group of parts of PL-2 line (Product Line-2) can be purchased at the reduced price.


19.06.2017 / Russian «GAZelle» vehicles will receive German diesel engines

The Russian GAZ Group and the German Volkswagen signed a number of agreements in Nizhny Novgorod. One of the items provides for the delivery of VW engines to Russia, which will be installed on GAZelle Next vans and minibuses.

The matter concerns two-liter diesel engines 2.0 TDI, which are produced in German Salzgitter. The supply of engines will begin in the second half of 2018


14.06.2017 / Demand in the tire market shifts from the premium segment to the mass one

According to Cordiant forecast, in 2017 28.6 million car tires will be sold in the Russian market, which is a 7% increase on 2016, when sales made 26.7 million tires. The company believes that the trend of the car tire market remains a shift in consumer demand from the premium segment to the mass one, which accounts for 65% of total sales.
