18.06.2018 / Car production in Kazakhstan is growing

Russian Automotive Market Research

Car production remains the main driver of the Kazakhstan automotive industry. According to the Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB), in 2018 Kazakhstan's enterprises produced 11 118 cars (+77.5%), 365 trucks (-3.2%), 135 buses (-5.6%) and 251 other special purpose vehicles.

In May 2018 2 572 vehicles of all types were produced in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was a 5.4% rise on April.

In May 2018 SaryarkaAvtoProm (Kostanay) produced 1 277 vehicles, Asia Auto in Ust-Kamenogorsk assembled 1 140 vehicles. KAMAZ Engineering in Kokshetau produced 60 trucks, Daewoo Bus Kazakhstan and Semaz in Semipalatinsk shipped 33 buses and 49 trucks SHACMAN and Ural. Hyundai Trans Auto in Almaty produced 10 vehicles.
