29.01.2016 / The company «Volgabus» will supply 132 buses in Togliatti and Volgograd

Volgograd and Togliatti will purchase new CNG buses - by the end of March 2015 new buses will appear on streets of these cities due to the program of stimulation of demand for CNG vehicles. Buses were purchased on terms of co-financing from the federal budget and consolidated budgets of constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The park of Togliatti will be replenished with 60 semi-low-floor CNG buses of Cityrythm series produced by Volgabas Volzhsky. Buses, equipped with Euro-5 engines, will be delivered under the program «Development of NGV market in the Samara region for 2014-2020».

Parks of the Volgograd region will receive 5 CNG buses of Serpantin series, 52 low-floor city and 15 modern semi-low-floor urban CNG buses of Cityrythm series produced by Volgabas Volzhsky. The government contract for the next update of the public transport of the region on the eve of FIFA World Cup 2018 has been signed recently in Volgograd. Buses will be equipped with gas engines.

According to Federal State Statistics Service of Russia, 131 thousand trucks were produced in 2015, which is a 14.7% decrease on the previous year.

Last year GAZ launched the production of the new GAZelle Next all-metal van, as well as medium-duty truck of the new generation Gazon Next. Ural automobile plant started serial production of vehicles of a new Ural Next family. Ford Sollers plant in Yelabuga launched the full cycle production of the new Ford Transit and Volkswagen plant in Kaluga started the assembly of light commercial vehicles of the new series T6 (Transporter, Caravelle, Multivan). In addition, Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad began to produce Ford Trucks.

Because of the decline in demand for commercial vehicles in Russia Volvo Trucks plant in Kaluga stopped the production of Volvo and Renault trucks from February to October 2015, MAN plant in Saint Petersburg did not work in the period from March to the middle of May, and the assembly line of MB Trucks Vostok, which produces Mitsubishi Fuso Canter medium-duty trucks, stood idled from April to September.

The leasing company Kommunalnik, a large diversified company located in Nizhnevartovsk, leased seven KAMAZ tractor units from KAMAZ-LEASING under the program Special. Customers gave preference to such four-wheel drive models as KAMAZ-53504 and KAMAZ-65221. KAMAZ-53504 tractor unit (6x6) is designed for operation in articulated lorries with GVW of up to 38 tons together with semitrailers on all types of roads. The heavier KAMAZ-65221 tractor unit (6x6) is designed for use in articulated lorry with GVW of up to 62.7 tons together with semitrailers. Advantages of the leasing program Special are the annual price rise of 3.9%, the full hull insurance with a low rate of 1.09%, possibility to choose any serial vehicles manufactured by KAMAZ PJSC or special purpose vehicles on KAMAZ chassis.

22.01.2016 / State program of preferential leasing was extended

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation resumed the state program of preferential leasing of vehicles, which covers transactions with commercial vehicles (including light commercial vehicles), produced in Russia. Leasing companies, which participate in the program, will provide lessees with 10% discounts of the vehicle value at a stage of advance payment. The shortfall in income of lessors will be compensated for by targeted state subsidies. The total budget of the program amounts to 5 billion rubles with the further increase.

In the framework of the development of the program of KAMAZ PJSC with leasing companies-partners, the enterprise signed a cooperation agreement with a new partner – «Sberbank-Leasing» JSC. The main goal of the program is to create a special financial product for clients to purchase KAMAZ trucks on more favorable terms. The program is oriented to small and medium businesses, which can renew their truck fleets by purchasing KAMAZ vehicles on special financial terms without prejudice to the working capital. Prior to the signing of the agreement with «Sberbank-Leasing» KAMAZ dealers cooperated with two leasing companies - Europlan and VEB leasing.

According to Federal Customs Service of Russia, in January-November 2015 import of trucks in Russia fell by 66.2% and made 19.5 thousand trucks on 760.8 million dollars. Of them 17.5 thousand trucks on 412.9 million dollars were imported from foreign countries, the remaining 2 thousand trucks on 347.9 million dollars – from CIS countries.

Export of trucks decreased by 13.6% to 16.9 thousand trucks on 398.5 million dollars. 4.8 thousand trucks on 199.2 million dollars were supplied to foreign countries, 12.1 thousand trucks on 199.3 million dollars - to CIS countries.

12.01.2016 / PAZ buses will be equipped with Granit-Navigator terminals

Models made by Pavlovo Bus Plant will be the first buses in Russia to be equipped with Granit-Navigator-6.18 terminal of the Russian ERA-GLONASS emergency response system. In December 2015, the terminal was certified in compliance with the requirements of the Technical Regulation of the Customs Union for installation into PAZ branded vehicles. GAZ Group plans to launch the production of PAZ buses with ERA-GLONASS system terminal in 2016.

ERA-GLONASS emergency response terminal was certified for installation into PAZ-3204 bus model range designed for working on city and suburban routes, including those with higher passenger flows (Vector model). Granit-Navigator-6.18 terminal can also be used for connecting additional services, such as monitoring and dispatching of the bus fleet depots, control of the driving style in compliance with Europrotocol or CASCO insurance standards, dangerous or hazardous cargo transportation, passenger transportation management.

«Gazprom Neft» and «MAN Truck & Bus Rus» signed a partnership agreement for 2016. The cooperation is aimed to raise the awareness of business customers of companies about recent solutions in the field of effective operation, maintenance of commercial vehicles and increase the profitability of transportations.

In the framework of cooperation MAN specialists will test the new improved diesel fuel «Diesel Opti» of the company «Gazprom Neft». During tests, specialists of «MAN Truck & Bus Rus» plan to carry out laboratory tests, as well as trial operation. Customers of both companies will be able to test «Diesel Opti» fuel on trucks for six months; experts of «MAN Truck & Bus Rus» will regularly check the performance of engines at authorized service centers. Companies also plan to jointly participate in professional forums, training programs and social projects.
