Two KAMAZ electric buses are prepared for the test operation in Russian cities. Also the novelty will be taken for tests by Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Kemerovo and other cities. Previously KAMAZ electric buses underwent performance tests in Moscow and the Moscow region.
KAMAZ plans to develop a whole range of electric buses – 12, 9, 6 meter long and extra small, completely autonomous with the capacity of up to 12 passengers.
The company Cognitive Technologies and KAMAZ will show the first finished prototype of the unmanned truck in the beginning of the next year. The concept may receive the production version by the end of 2017.

GAZ Group delivered 12 ambulances to medical institutions of the Nizhny Novgorod region in the framework of the state program of ambulance purchase. Ambulances of B class are based on GAZelle Business light commercial vehicle
Under the strategic contract KAMAZ supplied more than 250 vehicles to the large corporate customer NK Rosneft within summer months. In accordance with the contract, before the end of 2017 KAMAZ will deliver a total of more than 1000 vehicles to the company.
According to the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia, in January-July 2016 import of trucks decreased by 9.3% to 9.7 thousand units on 495.5 million dollars.
Renault launched sales of Renault Kangoo Z. E. and Twizy electric vehicles for private clients in Russia.
Kangoo Z. E. is the electric cargo van based on a similar model with an internal combustion engine. Engine capacity of 60 HP working in combination with a reducer enable to reach a speed of 130 km/h.
In November 2016 KAMAZ will begin testing the truck able to avoid collisions. At the moment the vehicle systems are already able to warn the driver about the presence of obstacles, now the company prepares the version with an active autonomous braking system.
Minsk automobile plant will supply 100 buses to Kazan. MAZ-203 low-floor large buses will be used to transport passengers during the World Cup 2018, several matches of which will be held in Tatarstan capital.
