28.03.2017 / Over the first two months of 2017 KAMAZ sold 3.5 thousand vehicles

In January-February 2017 KAMAZ increased its sales by 19% to 3439 vehicles. In Russia the company sold 2754 trucks, which is a 21% increase on the similar period of the last year. KAMAZ sales to foreign countries grew by 12% to 685 vehicles.


22.03.2017 / «SovInterAutoService» opened a new IVECO dealership

The Eastern Europe's largest IVECO dealership was opened in Moscow. This is a joint project of «SovInterAutoService» and «CNH Industrial Russia». The flagships of multi-brand auto center became IVECO and Fiat Professional vehicles.
In the dealership it will be possible to purchase, repair or carry out maintenance of vehicles of IVECO and other brands, cooperating with «SovInterAutoService».


17.03.2017 / KAMAZ-5490 will be upgraded

In the second half of 2017 KAMAZ will launch sales of the upgraded 5490 tractor unit, which will receive a number of design changes. With the modernization the tractor unit index will be supplemented with the word «neo». KAMAZ-5490 Neo has the following differences from the original model: wheelbase increased by 200 mm, reinforced front suspension with maintenance-free silent blocks instead of bushings and flat top of rear wings .


16.03.2017 / Import and export of trucks in January 2017

According to the Federal Customs Service of Russia, in January 2017 import of trucks to Russia increased 2.2-fold and made 1.1 thousand trucks on 108.4 million dollars. Of them 900 trucks on 37.7 million dollars were imported from foreign countries, remaining 200 trucks on 70.7 million dollars - from CIS countries.

Volkswagen began to accept orders and announced prices for the new Crafter. All body types, three wheel drive types and two gear box variants are available for the Russian market. The minimum cost of a three-ton van is 1 996 000 rubles, the version with GVW of 3.5 tons — 2 024 700 rubles.


06.03.2017 / KAMAZ develops new types of special purpose vehicles

In 2016, 120 vehicle sets (chassis) were designed and improved at KAMAZ. The model range is being updated much faster at the enterprise. One of the main activities is KAMAZ's cooperation with manufacturers of special purpose vehicles. Over the past year 200 permissions to use chassis in 400 items were registered with 60 companies manufacturing special purpose vehicles. These are vehicles for the oil and gas complex, vans for goods transportation, people carriage, fire trucks, tank trucks, bowsers, dump trucks and other.


03.03.2017 / «NEFAZ» began to manufacture new products

«NEFAZ», KAMAZ subsidiary in Bashkiria, assembled the first body of the new low-entry trolleybus. This is a new trend for the company, an increase in production volumes and new solutions, which were not applied.
