Sales of European trucks are continually breaking the record on the Russian market. In Jan-Feb 2018 new European truck sales grew by 88% on the same period of 2017 to 3.4 thousand new trucks.
Their market share went up from 23% to 32%. The share of Russian brands, on the contrary, declined from 62% to 50%.
KAMAZ together with its official distributor in Africa, Bell Equipment, announced the official start of sales of KAMAZ vehicles in South Africa. In January 2018, 54 dump trucks were delivered to the country. During the year at least 100 complete KAMAZ trucks will be supplied in South Africa; beginning 2019 the company plans to export at least 300 trucks a year.
KAMAZ published its annual financial statements for 2017 under RAS: by the end of the year the company received the net profit of more than 3 billion rubles.
