29.12.2016 / Zaporozhye automobile plant launched the production of ZAZ Vida Cargo

Zaporozhye automobile plant launched serial production of ZAZ Vida Cargo passenger van. Vehicles have already gone on sale in dealer centers of the brand.
A prototype of the commercial vehicle based on Vida, which is a copy of Chevrolet Aveo of the previous generation, was first presented in 2013, but their assembly starts only now. The novelty shall replace the cargo version of Chevrolet Lanos produced since 2005.

16.12.2016 / Sales of cars in Kazakhstan decreased by 32.4% in November 2016

According to the Union of Enterprises of Automobile Industry of Kazakhstan KazAvtoProm, following results of eleven months of 2016 official dealers sold a total of 38 779 thousand cars and light commercial vehicles in Kazakhstan, which is a 56% decrease on the similar figure of the last year (88 396 thousand units). In November this figure was 4 187 thousand units (-32.4%)

14.12.2016 / UAZ will receive financial solutions for operation in Belarus

Ulyanovsk automobile plant, State Corporation Vnesheconombank, Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus and Bank BelVEB signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening and developing of bilateral Russian-Belarusian trade and economic cooperation. The subject of the agreement is to establish long-term partnership in the field of supplies of products of the Russian automotive industry in the Republic of Belarus.

05.12.2016 / Sales of cars in Ukraine increased by 50% in November 2016

According to Association of automakers of Ukraine «Ukravtoprom», in November 2016 sales of new cars in Ukraine increased by 50% and amounted to 7728 units. Over eleven months of 2016, 57961 cars were sold in Ukraine – by 41% more than in the previous year.
The leader in the Ukrainian market in November 2016 remained Toyota, which sold 851 cars – by 56% more than in the previous year.
