According to the Union of Enterprises of Automobile Industry of Kazakhstan KazAvtoProm, in January-April 2018 9 297 vehicles were produced in Kazakhstan (including passenger cars, trucks, buses, special vehicles and trailers), which was a 84.5% on the similar period of 2017.
According to Russian Automotive Market Research, 50 000 cars were produced in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine in the first quarter of 2018 (+57% on the first quarter of 2017). The bulk of cars was produced in Uzbekistan – 39.3 thousand units in January-March 2018, which was a 45% rise on the similar period of 2017.
Minsk Automobile Plant launched serial production of Euro-6 trucks. Initially new tractor units will be produced in limited quantities and later the plant will master the fully-fledged mass production of Euro-6 trucks. Capacities of the assembly line are enough, but much will depend on the level of demand in the country and abroad. The portfolio of orders for the coming months has been already formed.
