According to preliminary unaudited data, in 2016 KAMAZ increased its revenue by 31% to 127.28 billion rubles. The result of the company's activities became the net profit of 339 million rubles against the loss of 2 billion rubles in 2015.
In the beginning of February 2017 an official representative office of commercial vehicles unit of Hyundai Motor Company in Russia, Hyundai Truck and Bus Rus, opened.

KAMAZ net profit in 2016 according to IFRS amounted to 339 million rubles against the loss of 2.38 billion in 2015. The company revenue according to IFRS made 127.2 billion rubles (+31% on the last year).
KAMAZ summed up the results of work on improving the quality for 2016. In comparison with 2015, the number of defects per one tested vehicle (DPV) decreased by 24%, and the factor of defectiveness (APA) – by 28%. KVP-groups engaged in identifying and solving quality problems continue to operate at all plants of the company.
WTO panel of arbiters found inconsistencies in anti-dumping duties on import of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) from Germany and Italy to the countries of the Customs Union introduced by Russia in 2013. The European Commission believes that the introduction of these duties is only one of several measures of Russia concerning export from EU countries, and indicates that such actions are at odds with obligations accepted by Russia when accessing to the WTO.
